From Frustration to Platform
PlexiFact{ory} was founded in 2013 by a team that had spent decades building and managing data infrastructure for alternative asset managers. We saw the same pattern at every firm: seven or more disconnected tools, an ops team drowning in spreadsheets, and millions spent on systems that never quite worked together.
We built PLEXI to solve our own problem. A single, converged platform that handles ingestion, reconciliation, governance, analytics, and reporting — all purpose-built for the domain we know best: alternative assets.
20+ deployments later, headquartered in the United States, we serve hedge funds, PE firms, and family offices managing $300M to $7B+ in AUM. Every client gets an embedded team because we learned the hard way that great software without great implementation is just expensive shelfware.
